Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The most recent project was a photoshoot that I helped produce and direct with the photographer and videographer on the team. It was a group effort of planning, scheduling, and following up. My favorite part is documenting the process and reflecting on everything it took to make this dream a reality when the final images are ready to share.
We initially started talking about the photoshoot in July, but then there were scheduling conflicts that came up with the initial model selected for the project. Eventually, we decided to bring on another model. Following the decision, the shoot was scheduled, and the studio was booked for the images to be created within one week. I love it when a team can pivot when life happens. We need to roll with the punches.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I called two friends of mine and asked them if they wanted to take a road trip from Austin, Texas, to West Texas, and they both said okay. One was a concert photographer who wanted to get into fashion photography. The other friend was a project manager who was going to assist the photographer and me as the model and wardrobe stylist. That was on November 21, 2016. I've been building creative teams and concepts since!

12+ years of on-the-job training. Buying and reselling vintage is how it all started. I wanted to show people that vintage clothing didn't mean HALLOWEEN costumes. It could be everyday wear that is trendy, cute, sexy, unique, rare, and fashionable. Since 2016, I have also worked as a wardrobe dresser for ballet dance theater and backstage for fashion show runways. Recently got into content creation. Capturing the environment and experience as a whole for the production team and client in real-time. Each gig teaches me how to think and move more efficiently. Grateful.
